Lauren Darling, known for her elegant approach to design, has held several senior leadership positions guiding creative across publishing and creative services in fashion, art, retail, design and luxury lifestyle goods. She is highly experienced in art directing campaigns and branded content, and has worked alongside many renowned photographers, directors, artists and personalities. Her work spans all aspects of fully integrated brand experiences including e-commerce, user experience, brand identity, designed communications and content.
Currently as Creative Director at Town & Country magazine, she ensures there is a cohesive brand experience across all consumer touch points and is the creative voice for all things branded Town & Country. Prior to her role as Creative Director, Darling served as Art Director where she managed the advertising and publishing art department. She also redesigned the look and feel of the promotional side of Town & Country. Darling received the Hearst Spotlight Award for marketing/advertising in 2016.
Darling served as a Senior Designer at Harper’s Bazaar for three years where she designed all sales and marketing materials, created in-book pages for advertisers, BAZAAR promotions and the new ShopBAZAAR.com e-commerce site. She was also an integral part in launching the Bazaar emojis. Darling has also worked as a designer for Cooking Light and Bon Appetit.
Aside from publishing, Darling has also worked at advertising and branding agency Howl Brooklyn, where she served as Art Director. While there, Darling worked closely with the Justin Bieber team to create the SOMEDAY brand and brand identity.
